Foreign Ministry Of Uzbekistan Announced Adherence To Strengthening Ties With France

The historical state visit to Paris confirms the deep commitment of Uzbekistan to strengthen ties with French partners.

About this, the Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtier Saidov wrote in a telegram channel on Thursday, March 13, commenting on the visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyev to France, held the day before.

“Uzbekistan and France: a new era of friendship and cooperation,” the minister wrote. Saidov noted that the presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Emmanuel Macron held warm and productive meetings, signed a joint declaration on the establishment of a strategic partnership, opening new opportunities for cooperation.

The delegations signed important documents on the creation of the Uzbek-French University, joint investment projects, the mutual exemption of owners of diplomatic passports from visa requirements, healthcare, energy, infrastructure, business, education, culture and much more, the head of Uzbek diplomacy noted.

Another evidence of the growing friendship between the two countries was the presentation by the President of Uzbekistan of the French Order of the Honorary Legion, follows from the publication.

“This visit marks the beginning of a new, dynamic stage of Uzbek-French relations, based on trust, mutual respect and general aspirations for the future. Together we are building a strong partnership for future generations!”, The Minister wrote.
