Forest Fire, which began on August 22 on Mount Pango in Caval (Greece), lasts the 7th day.
In the Greek press there were reports that the fire on Mount Pangeo could not take control for 7 days, despite all measures, since it is in an inaccessible place.
The news says that 280 firefighters, 46 fire engines, 3 helicopters and 3 aircraft are involved in the fight against fire. To date, about 13 thousand hectares of the forest have turned into ashes.
In many regions of Greece on Wednesday due to the high risk of fires, the “yellow level of danger” has been declared (category 3).
According to the Fire Rasal Forecast, published by the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, Attica, Evia, Evbey, Rodopa, Tasos, Chalkidiki, Crete and Northern Aegean Islands, which has been declared “Yellow Alarm”.
