In just a few days, 60 natural fires were recorded in the region, including 13 large fires. Their total area was 11 thousand ha.
On Monday, the head of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Russian Federation, Alexander Kurenkov, flew with an operational group to the Kurgan region, where the emergency mode was introduced due to natural fires. He, together with the governor, examined the areas that suffered from the fire, checked the operation of temporary accommodation points and met with fireworks, answered their questions.

The press service of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region added that on the fact of the death of a man, an audit was organized.
