Helicopters were attracted to extinguishing fires in Shabran and Gabala, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) of Azerbaijan reports.
It is noted that the department received information about the fire in the mountainous terrain near the village of Khalfalar Shabran district and the villages of Abkhkhi, the Tycanals of the Gabalinsky district.

In order to accelerate the work on extinguishing fires and preventing its spread to a large territory in both areas, additional forces of the Ministry of Emergencies were sent, including two aircraft groups. Employees of the Forestry Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources also take part in the extinguishing of fires. Currently, fire extinguishing works are ongoing.
