The Meshchansky Court of Moscow sentenced the founder of the Ziyavudin Magomedov group to 19 years in prison, Russian media reported.
His brother, former member of the Federation Council Magomed Magomedov received 18 years in prison.
Earlier, the Magomedov brothers were found guilty of creating a criminal community and theft of 11 billion rubles. Due to the large volume of the case, the sentence announces for several days.
At a meeting on December 1, the court also satisfied the claims to the defendants of the case of 3.6 billion rubles.
