In the second round of the presidential election in Slovenia, which took place on November 13, the 54-year-old lawyer and journalist Natasha Pirts-Musar won. The results of processing 95.52% of the vote were published by the CEC of the country.
The non-partisan Pirts-Musar supported at that time 54.04% of those who came to sections of voters, for its competitor, the former head of the Foreign Ministry of Slovenia Ange Logar (46 years old) from the Slovenian Democratic Party voted 45.96%. The turnout in the second round of the presidential election of Slovenia amounted to 52.13%. The publication Slovenske Novice notes that in the country, “it seems that the woman-president will appear for the first time.”
Israeli details noted that Natasha Pirts-Musar once worked in the legal team of the former first Lady of the United States Melania Trump when she sued the tabloid in the slander case. Musar was also part of the team hired to protect the legal interests of the former first Lady of the United States and its brand.
Now the president of Slovenia is Borut Pahore. He will transfer his powers in December. Due to the fact that Pahore served as president for two terms, he did not run for president in 2022.
