The Supreme Court of Azerbaijan considered a cassation appeal against the former Minister of National Security of the Nakhchyansk Autonomous Republic, Aleskerov was conducted, Azerbaijani media reported.
According to the decision of the Supreme Court, the decision of the Court of Appeal against Vali Aleskerov has been changed, and he was sentenced to imprisonment for a period of 6 years 6 months and 20 days.
Aleskerov was released from custody in the courtroom, as he was in prison since 2016.
