The founder of the American software development company Microsoft Bill Gates arrived in China to discuss global health and development problems. The American billionaire reported this on his Twitter page.
“For the first time since 2019, I landed in Beijing, where I was glad to be together with partners who, together with the Gates Foundation Foundation, have worked on eliminating global health problems,” Gates wrote.
The entrepreneur noted that China has vast experience in combating climate changes, ensuring access to medical care and food, and it is necessary that all this progress be further available as possible as possible people around the world.
Bill Gates wrote that the solution to problems such as climate change, inequality in access to health care services and the lack of food security, requires innovation.
Although the world has achieved significant progress in reducing poverty and children’s mortality, global crises slowed down achievements in these areas, the billionaire emphasized.
He attracted attention to the fact that African countries are especially vulnerable due to high food prices, debts and the spread of diseases such as tuberculosis and malaria.
The entrepreneur assured that after a visit to the PRC he will go to West Africa.
