Four People Became Victims Of Storm In West Of Panama

As a result of strong rainfalls that fell on the western part of Panama, 4 people were killed, 2 more are missing.

This was reported by the National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc). According to the service, abundant precipitation fell on the provinces of Chiriki, Bokas-Domo-Toro, Veraguas, Errera and Los Santos.

4 people were killed as a result of floods, including one policeman. Search and rescue work continues.

President of Panama Jose Raul Mulino on the social network X expressed condolences to the families of the dead.

The Panama Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology warned of continuing heavy rains and urged citizens to be careful.
