The French authorities blocked about € 1.2 billion, which belong to Russian citizens. This was announced by the head of the intelligence unit of the Ministry of Finance Guillaume Vallette-ALA, the newspaper La Tribune writes.
“The volume of frozen funds is about € 1.2 billion, not counting the funds of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation,” said Vallet -ALA. According to him, these measures were taken in accordance with the decision of the European Union, which established a list of personal sanctions.
The funds were identified and blocked after checks that the ministry carried out during the first quarter of 2022.
