The French Armed Forces conducted sudden military exercises in Estonia by sending more than 100 paratroopers, according to the Ministry of Defense of France.
The landing operation conducted on Tuesday evening and called Thunder Lynx, “allowed to land about 100 paratroopers“ from the 11th airborne brigade of France ”in the territory protected by Estonian soldiers as soon as possible,” the statement said. The exercises in Estonia, which is a member of NATO, were conducted to demonstrate “strategic solidarity” against the background of the Russian war against Ukraine.
