France is concerned about the possibility of resuming nuclear tests in the world.
This was reported by the country’s Foreign Ministry.
“France expressed concern in connection with the requirement of Russia to ensure a willingness to conduct nuclear tests if they are conducted by the United States,” the commander notes.
Foreign Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the importance of the comprehensive prohibition of nuclear tests, which was ratified by Russia in 2000.
It was also called to “observe the moratorium on nuclear trials.”
Earlier in the message to the Federal Assembly, Russian President Vladimir Putin set the corresponding task of the Ministry of Defense and Rosatom, who “should prepare for nuclear tests if necessary, but the first Russia will not conduct them.”
