In the French city of Muluz, an unknown attacked with a knife in passers -by in the area of one of the markets. As a result of the attack, one person died, five more were injured, local media reported.
The attacker was detained at the crime scene. According to the press, he turned out to be a 36-year-old native of Algeria, in respect of whom a decree on deportation was previously issued.
The National Prosecutor’s Office to combat the terrorism of France launched an investigation under the article “Murder related to the terrorist group.”
President of the country Emmanuel Macron said that he was considering what happened as a “terrorist attack” and expressed condolences to the family of the deceased.
