In France, more than 1 thousand participants in the riots in late June and early July sentenced to imprisonment. This was announced on Wednesday on the air of the RTL radio station by the Minister of Justice of the Republic Eric Dupon-Marty.
“1 056 people were sentenced to deprivation of liberty, of which 742 people received real terms. The average term of imprisonment is 8.2 months. 600 people were already sent to places of imprisonment,” the minister said.
Moretti emphasized that 1,278 court decisions were made in total, 95 percent of which convicts.
Dupon-Marty also noted that in the near future there will be trials against parents whose children participated in pogroms.
