Fraudster Gyzylgul returned all money, but court still sent her to prison

In the Baku Court of Crime, the trial in the criminal case of a 48-year-old resident of Baku Gyzylgyul Musaeva, accused of fraud, was completed.

According to haqqın.az, Musaeva deceived her distant relative to Farid Guliev, promising to help buy an apartment in a building near the Metropark shopping center in the Narimanovsky district of Baku. The fraudster convinced his victim that her close relatives were working in the construction sector, that Guliev could purchase an apartment with an area of 50 square meters on credit. Thus, Musaeva since 2016 has seized 78 thousand manat from a relative.

After Guliyev’s appeal to the police against Musaeva, a criminal case was opened, a preventive measure in the form of house arrest was chosen.

During the investigation, it was found that Musaeva invested the money received by fraud in fraud in gold trade. The accused pleaded guilty of charges. She noted that she has been familiar with Gulieva since 2010, and from those maintained contact with her. The fraudster said that her husband’s relatives named Barat and Araz are engaged in the construction business: “Farida was looking for an inexpensive apartment. She asked me to help through relatives. Neither Barat nor Ara, I said anything about it. At that time I was engaged in the sale of jewelry. I thought that I can invest Farida and get a good income. “

To her victim Musaeva showed the house under construction near the Nariman Narimanov metro station, saying that she could buy an apartment in this house. The initial contribution allegedly amounted to 3,000 manat, and every month it was necessary to pay 200-300 manat. Musaeva convinced the relative that the house had not yet been built and therefore there were no documents for the apartment: “I hoped to earn and return the money to Farid. But the trade in gold did not work out. And in the summer of last year, Farida began to demand her money back. >

In addition, Musaeva also invited a relative to open a cosmetology clinic, saying that for this it was necessary to purchase an apparatus worth 3 thousand manat in Germany. “I gave Gyzylgul 3000 manat, but the device was never delivered. Then I realized that I was deceived. I demanded to return my money, but Gyzylgul came up with various excuses,” said the victim Farid Guliyeva.

At the same time, the victim said that the damage caused to her was completely compensated, the complainant is not and had already reconciled with Musaeva. But the court decided to sentenced Gyzylgul Musaev to 5 years in prison.
