Fraudster lured money from veterans of Patriotic War

A preliminary investigation in a criminal case against Elvin Aliyev, accused of fraud against veterans of the Patriotic War, was completed.

According to haqqin.az, the materials in the criminal case were sent to the Baku court for serious crimes. The case will be considered by Judge Eldar Ismailov.

Note that the state security service opened a criminal case on the basis of the information received about numerous facts of fraudulent actions against participants in the Patriotic War and the removal of their material means.

It was found that a citizen of Azerbaijan, Elvin Aliyev born in 1987, got in touch with the veterans of the Patriotic War Rustam Bakarov, Vasif Sofiev, Vusal Aliyev, Israel Guluzade, Emin Azimzade, Muhammad Mammadov and others, reporting that they were supposed to be a single payment from states, and lured them out of money under the pretext of opening bank accounts and other expenses.

For these acts, Elvin Aliyev was held accountable as the accused, he was charged with articles 178.2.2 (repeated fraud) and 310 (assigning the powers of an official) of the Azerbaijan Criminal Code, the court elected a preventive measure in the form of a conclusion in his attitude in custody.
