The French Foreign Ministry called on its citizens to immediately leave Belarus against the backdrop of the ongoing armed conflict of Russia and Ukraine, as well as a closed Belarusian airspace. Any trips of France citizens to Belarus are not strictly recommended, added to the Foreign Ministry.
“French in Belarus, they invite without delay to leave the country by road through border crossings with Lithuania, Poland or Latvia. If necessary, passengers arriving by air must be issued in the services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus,” the ministry said in a message on the website of the ministry .
The Foreign Ministry also reminded that the boundaries with Lithuania and Latvia remain open, and you can only get to Poland through the Brest – Terespol checkpoint.
In the meantime, the Brazilian Embassy in Minsk called on the Brazilians as soon as possible to leave Russia and Belarus.
Earlier today, February 13, the US Embassy in Russia called on its citizens to urgently leave the country “due to the risk of unlawful detentions” and a new wave of mobilization. The department also said that US citizens should not visit Russia due to the unpredictable consequences of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
