FRG Foreign Minister Annala Berbok reported that he was sent to the countries of Western Balkans in order to prevent the dissemination of Russia there. With this statement, she spoke on Wednesday evening before a visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, as well as in Moldova, writes TASS.
“Europe must be ready to strategically invest in its long-term security. This is especially true of our relations with the countries of the Western Balkans,” said Berbok. In her opinion, “Players like Russia, who are not interested in the European Future, will penetrate into this open flank, and do not be afraid to releasing unresolved conflicts again.”
“I go to Western Balkans to listen to the fact that people are expected there from us, but in order to clearly understand that we will not leave this region in the heart of Europe to spread the influence of Moscow,” said German Minister
FGG Foreign Minister also argued that Moldova more than other countries feels the consequences of events in Ukraine. She intends to find out what support to Germany can provide this country. “We cannot allow Russia a shock wave provoked to other European countries. Moldova can count on German and European solidarity,” Berbok said.
