The FSB of Russia reported the opening of the “agent group of Ukrainian special services”, created to commit terrorist attacks against military personnel of the Black Sea Fleet in the city of Sevastopol in the annexed Crimea.
“The Federal Service of Russia has been opened by the agent group of Ukrainian special services in the city of Sevastopol, created to commit sabotage and terrorist acts in relation to military personnel of the Black Sea Fleet, as well as objects of military, transport and energy infrastructures of the region,” reports on Monday, June 3 -Service of the Center for Public Relations (COO) FSB.
Security bodies detained 5 “agents” of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine “recruited” by the special services of Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhya region, follows from the message.
The department noted that explosive devices and means of defeat were delivered by agents from the territory of Ukraine by postage, bus transportation and laid in caches.
Photos with caches coordinates were sent to the “Ukrainian curators”, who subsequently set tasks for performers to commit a specific sabotage or terrorist attack. All participants in the preparing DTA were not familiar with each other.
“The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine were confident in the safety of its agents, but the FSB of Russia completely controlled their activities, which allowed us to prevent terrorist attacks,” follows from the text.
During searches, 3 ready -made IEVs, plastic explosives of the production of Great Britain with a total mass of about 5 kg, 600 grams of TNT, military electric, radio -controlled executive mechanisms for acting explosive devices were found. 3 caches with means of damage were found.
In relation to persons involved in the preparation “on the instructions of the special services of Ukraine, sabotage and terrorist attacks” on the territory of the city of Sevastopol, criminal cases under Articles 205 (“Terrorist Act”), 275 (“State treason) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation are instituted and investigated. Previously, they were convicted under Art. 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“illegal storage of explosives and explosive devices”).
For committed acts, punishment is provided for life imprisonment.
