“The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation received documentary materials confirming London coordination of the escalation of the international military-political situation. These documents indicate that in the UK a head unit coordinating a subversive policy in the Russian direction (and in countries previously part of USSR) is the Director of Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the British Foreign Ministry, transformed after the start of its (special military operation) in Ukraine into a special service, the main task of which is our country of strategic defeat, ”the message says.
The department indicated that “the revealed facts give reasons to consider the activities of the director of British diplomats sent to Moscow as a threatening security of the Russian Federation.”
“In connection with this, on the basis of documents provided by the FSB of Russia, as well as as a response to the numerous unfriendly steps of the London of the Russian Foreign Ministry, in cooperation with interested departments, accreditation of six employees of the political department of the UK Embassy in Moscow, in which signs were discovered. conducting reconnaissance and subversive work, ”the report said.
“Subsequently, when identifying similar actions by employees of the British diplomatic mission, the FSB of Russia will demand an early termination of their business trips in the Russian Federation,” summarized the FSB.
The incident with the deprivation of accreditation of employees of the British Embassy was also commented by the official representative of the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova.
“We completely share the pronounced FSB of Russia by the assessments of the British activities, as it were, the British embassy went far beyond the borders outlined by the Viennese conventions. But it is most important that it is not only about the formal side of the issue and non -compliance of the stated activities, but about subversive promotions aimed at damaging our people, ”she wrote in her Telegram channel.
