The Russian special services detained the German citizen Nikolai Gaiduk on the border of the Kaliningrad Region of the Russian Federation, who, claimed to plan sabotage at energy facilities. This was reported in the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (FSB).
“FSB was suppressed by the criminal activity of the German citizen Gaiduk Nikolai Viktorovich, born in 1967, living at the address: Hamburg, Krozburger Strasse, 42, involved in the undermining in March 2024 using a home -made explosive device of the pipe of low -pressure gas distribution station In Kaliningrad.
The FSB noted that “as a result of the inspection of the Ford Focus car he used with state registration signs HHS5305 (Germany), 0.5 liters of liquid explosive were seized”.
“It was established that the task for undertaking and the components of the IEV Haiduk received from a residence permit of the Ukrainian citizen of Ukraine Zherov Alexander Anatolyevich, born in 1967, also living in Hamburg,” the Russian department said.
In relation to the FSB detained by the investigative division, a criminal case has been instituted under the articles “Terrorist Act” and “Smuggling of explosives”. Gaiduk is placed in custody.
