The Chairman of the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora (GCD) Fuad Muradov met with a group of Azerbaijani science figures who took part in the V Congress of Azerbaijanis.
According to Haqqin.az in the State Committee, welcoming the participants of the meeting engaged in prestigious scientific and educational institutions in Turkey, the USA, Japan, France, Germany, Estonia, Sweden, China, Russia, Mexico, Egypt, Myanmar, the Sultanate of Oman and the Sultanate of Oman and Kazakhstan, the chairman of the committee praised the participation of Azerbaijani scientists who are the pride of our society in the work of the congress.
The meeting was discussed by the issue of the forum of Azerbaijani scientists abroad, in connection with which a wide exchange of views on the creation of the Organizational Committee, the formation of virtual communications between scientists living abroad were held.
The meeting participants welcomed the initiative of the forum, noted that the direct participation of Azerbaijani scientists in diaspora construction, the consolidation of the forces of science figures, the transfer of their knowledge and experience by them will be a great contribution to ensuring the national interests of our state.
During the discussions, it was also said about the functioning of the site Elmidiaspor.az and the site azerbaycan.li, which is the biographical bank of Azerbaijani in the world, other projects carried out in this direction.

The meeting discussed the role of Azerbaijani businessmen living abroad, in the restoration and revival of Karabakh, deepening economic ties between Azerbaijan and the countries where they live, it was decided to activate the activities of the Azerbaijani businessmen.
