In London, the funeral of the Queen of Great Britain Elizabeth II began, reports The Guardian.
The body of the monarch was taken out of the Westminster palace, where it was from Wednesday, September 14. By tradition, preserved from the funeral of Queen Victoria, a gun’s carriage with a coffin rolled 142 military sailors.
The head of the procession is 200 Volynchiki and drummers from the Scottish and Irish regiments, the Royal Gurkh shooters and the Royal Air Force of Great Britain.
The tomb is followed by the eldest son of Elizabeth II, King Charles III, and other members of the royal family, including Prince William, Prince Harry, Princess Anna, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward. The coffin will be brought to Westminster Abbey, where the memorial service will be held.
