The countries of the seven groups (G7) closely monitor the effectiveness of the sanctions imposed on Russia, and are ready to take additional steps if necessary.
This is stated in a joint document adopted by the results of the meeting of the heads of the Ministry of Finance and the Central Banks of the G7.
“We will also continue close cooperation with partners aimed at compliance with sanctions and preventing any attempts to avoid them. In this context, we urge all other states to join the sanctions against Russia,” the document says.
