In an interview with TVR Moldova, Sandu said that residents of Moldova should prepare for a difficult winter in the conditions of an indefinite energy situation in the country. According to her, the authorities will do everything possible to provide the population with energy in the winter.
“We have no confidence that Gazprom will provide the volumes of supply we need … Attempts to create reserves or find alternative deliveries at acceptable prices, this is the problem, until they gave results,” Sandu said, adding that now now Negotiations are underway, including with Azerbaijan and Romania, but “these prices are unattainable for citizens of Moldova.”
