In the Ganjin Court for serious crimes, the trial in the criminal case of the 47-year-old adalat Garaev, a resident of the Shamkirsky district accused of robbery.
According to haqqın.az, the incident occurred last year on May 11 at night in the village of Shishtep of the Shamkirsky district.
A resident of the village of Adalayat Garayev “visited” to his cousin Elmire Aliyeva, learning that she was alone at home. Putting a knife to the throat and threatening a relative, the man took the mobile phone and 5 kilograms of chocolate sweets – he found nothing more in the house.
In court, Garaev pleaded guilty, but denied that he threatened Aliyeva, saying that he had only asked for money and was drunk. The accused, in his own words, brought not a knife, but a screwdriver.
Elmira Aliyeva refuted the words of a relative and demanded to punish him in all severity of the law.
by a court decision, Garayev was sentenced to 8 and a half years of a maximum security colony.
