Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with the UK parliamentary delegation, headed by Jonathan Dzhanogi, chairman of the inter-party parliamentary group working in Georgian issues in the House of Commons.
According to the press service of the Georgian government, the meeting discussed the main directions of the existing strategic partnership between Georgia and Great Britain and the prospects of future cooperation.
The conversation touched on the situation of safety and calls in the region and the world. As Garibashvili noted, in the light of current challenges, close cooperation between Great Britain and Georgia in the field of security is of paramount importance.
Garibashvili thanked Jonathan Dzhanogi for his firm and unshakable support for sovereignty, territorial integrity and policy of non -recognition of Georgia.
