The spot price of gas in Europe has grown to a maximum for three months amid record prices for carbon emissions, cool weather, rising prices for LNG in Asia and weak competition from wind power.
According to Interfax, the price of gas with delivery on Tuesday at the Dutch Hab TTF rose to $ 267 per thousand cubic meters, which is the maximum value from January 25.
Since the beginning of the year, the average cost of gas on the TTF node was $ 234 per thousand cubic meters.
It is noted that Europe is late with a start campaign to restore gas reserves in storages.
