The strategic goals of Russia in its attack on Ukraine “were frustrated.” So said the head of the United Committee of the Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milli.
According to Millie, “the war is not over, but at the moment Russia’s strategic goals have been foiled,” the Voice of America reports.
“Although Ukrainians do not have an advantage in weapons and numbers, they demonstrated superiority in tactical skill and superiority in the will of struggle, struggle for their country, for their freedom,” Millie.
The American general, who admitted that Moscow has achieved “small tactical successes in different parts of Eastern Ukraine,” explained the absence of success in the attack of the Kremlin by unsuccessful operational goals and the “very successful defense that Ukraine leads.”
Millie also stated that it was still too early to give a complete assessment of the offensive near Kherson, but noted that Ukraine “effectively uses its firing means to form ground maneuver” and has reached “sustainable” and “non -accidental” progress in hostilities.
