The Ukrainian military began defensive operations in the Kharkov direction in order to return the territories captured by Russia. Currently, Ukrainian fighters wedged into the defense of Russians to a depth of 50 km, said Alexei Gromov, deputy chief of the Main Operational Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
