According to the organizers of the action, the participants are opposed to the current authorities, who are accused of the fact that Brussels refused the country of the status of a candidate to join the European Union.
One of the participants in the action, ex-president George Margvelashvili, said that the current authorities will not be trust until they fulfill their obligations to the EU. It is necessary to send to the treatment of former president Mikhail Saakashvili and release the general director of the opposition television channel Mtavari Arch, Nick Gvaray, he said.
The participants in the action demanded the resignation of the country’s Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and the creation of the Government of National Consent. “We give a term for the current authorities – to fulfill our requirement to resign Garibashvili within a week. If our requirement is not fulfilled, we will be even more on this area than now, and then the authorities will not avoid the rage of the Georgian people,” one said the shares of one of its organizers, the leader of the radical opposition organization “Shame” Shota Digmelashvili.
