The Georgian government is working to open the country’s land borders. This was stated by the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of the country of Natia Tournava, Georgia reports online.
According to her, on the ground borders, the same entry rules will apply as the airway.
To date, foreigners who arrive in Georgia must present a certificate confirming the negative result of the PCR test held in the last 72 hours. In the case of a long stay in Georgia, these persons undergo a re-test at their own account.
Free movement through the land borders between Azerbaijan and Georgia suspended from March 14 last year due to a pandemic.
