The State Security Service (SGB) of Georgia is waiting for a response from Kyiv to a request for an attempt to transport explosives from Ukraine to Russia through Georgian territory. This was announced by the Georgian media by the director of the counter -terrorism center of the SGB Bacha Malaladze.
According to him, the Georgian side provided even more details in fact.
Malaladze noted that the relevant information “will benefit the investigation and confirm certain details.”
On the eve of the SGB, Georgia said that as a result of operational-search and investigative measures, several units of special explosive devices and a large number of explosives were seized.
According to the department, it was established that the indicated explosive devices and substances were taken to Georgia from Odessa. They were planned to be taken to the city of Voronezh of the Russian Federation.
