Georgian authorities cannot and will not provide military assistance to Ukraine, the chairman of the ruling faction of the Georgian Dream Parliament “Mamuka Midinaradze,
told reporters.
”Georgia provides complete and absolute political support to Ukraine. It also provides humanitarian assistance behind the line of its capabilities, and we will not be able to provide military assistance,” said Midinaradze.
The deputy explained the refusal of military support by the fact that Georgia has its own problems in the form of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
The temporary attorney in the affairs of Ukraine in Georgia Andrei Kasyanov previously said that Kyiv had repeatedly turned to Tbilisi with a request to transfer the military or dual -use technique, but the appeals were ignored.
