The new composition of the Georgian government, led by Prime Minister Irakli Kobahidze, will be approved at the plenary meeting of the parliament on November 28. This was stated by the chairman of the legislative body Shalva Papuashvili, the local media reports.
According to the speaker, before the date of the hearing of candidates for the positions of ministers, the parliamentary committees will take place at the combined meetings.
On the eve of Kobakhidze announced the replacement of three ministers in the government. The Minister of Agriculture of Otar Shamugue, the Minister of Justice, Rati Breadze and the Foreign Minister Ilya Darchiashvili, retired.
The government will only be affirmed by deputies from the ruling party “Georgian Dreams”. The opposition does not recognize the results of the parliamentary elections and does not participate in the work of the legislative body.
Earlier, the chairman of the Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili invited the deputies to hold the next presidential election on December 14, and the inauguration ceremony is December 29th.
