Georgian Parliament Adopted Law Banning Propaganda LGBT

Georgian parliament in the third and final reading adopted a law prohibiting the propaganda of LBGT and sex change.

At the plenary meeting of the legislative body, 84 deputies voted for the law. Not a single parliamentarian spoke out against.

Law in the third reading also adopted other laws included in the package.

The main part of the opposition did not participate in the consideration of the bill and voting, boycotting the meeting.

The law will be sent for signature to the President of the country Salome Zurabishvili.
