Georgian President Filed Lawsuit Due To Election Results

Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili filed a lawsuit by the Constitutional Court of the country. In it, the head of state demanded to recognize the results of the parliamentary elections held in the republic on October 26, falsified.

According to the CEC of Georgia, the ruling party “Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia”, which received 89 out of 150 mandates, won the election.

Previously, Zurabishvili refused to recognize the parliamentary elections in the country.

The President of Georgia announced their total falsification and urged citizens to reach the protest.

This morning in Tbilisi, the Georgian police dispersed the protest of the opposition and demolished the tents established by protesters.
