The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey provoked German ambassador to Ankara Jurgen Schulz in connection with a fabric of the Consul General of Turkey in Stuttgart, reports Hurriyet.
“Recalling the growing trend of attacks on Turkish diplomatic missions and other representative offices, the Foreign Ministry expressed the hope that the perpetrators will be held accountable, and the damage should be compensated in accordance with the diplomatic rules. During a meeting with Schulz, the Ministry also asked for a revaluation of security of provided by Germany in Turkish diplomatic missions.
Turkey is afraid that the growth of xenophobia and Islamophobia in Germany, where more than 4 million Turks live, is the main reason for the frequent attacks on Turkish representative offices, mosques and people.
