From June 19 to 21, at the invitation of the President of Kazakhstan, Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev, a state visit of Germany President Frank-Walter Steinmeier will take place in Kazakhstan, the press service of Akorda reports.
During the visit of the heads of state, negotiations will hold, during which the state and prospects of strengthening the Kazakh-German strategic partnership with an emphasis on expanding cooperation in trade, economic, investment spheres, the development of transport, logistics and energy interaction, as well as deepening humanitarian ties.
Following the results, it is planned to sign a number of bilateral documents.
The President of Germany will perform at the forum of rector of Kazakhstan and German universities.
In addition, the presidents of Kazakhstan and Germany will take part in the Kazakh-German Business Forum.
As part of the visit, Frank-Walter Steinmeier plans to visit the Mangistau region and get acquainted with the economic potential of the region.
The German President plans to take part in the opening of the Kazakh-German Institute of Engineering, as well as in the launch ceremony of trial drilling at the green hydrogen production plant Swedish-German company Svevind.
Steinmeier will become the first European leader to visit the Mangistau region.
