Chairman of the State Committee on Refugees and Forced Migrants Rzrovan Rzaev, Director of the German Society of International Cooperation (GIZ GmbH) in Azerbaijan Karin Khorhar, head of the project Yarh Le Blanc signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
By order of the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ), a new stage of the project “Socio-economic development of internally displaced persons and a low-income local population in the South Caucasus”, implemented by GIZ in collaboration with the State Committee, begins. Memorandum will ensure the execution of measures provided for at this stage.
In general, the project started in 2017. Over the past period, various activities were carried out aimed at supporting the economic and social development of internally displaced persons living in the Agdam, Bardi region and the city of Mingachevir, as well as the local low-income population living on one territory with them. At the new stage of the project, the necessary measures will also be taken to achieve the goals set in this area.
