Germany: restrictions are introduced for arriving from France

France, from the point of view of the German authorities, from Sunday, March 28, is considered a zone of increased risk due to the rapid spread of coronavirus. This status is assigned to Germany regions where the increase in infections over the past seven days per 100 thousand population exceeds 200 cases. In France, this figure is now more than 300 cases, reports DW.

This means that those who arrive in Germany from this country are obliged to present a document on the negative result of the test to Coronavirus, and also to spend 10 days on quarantine. After receiving, however, a re-negative test five days after entering Germany, they have the right to leave quarantine.

Germany assigns three different statuses to countries and regions depending on the epidemiological situation. In addition to the increased risk zones, there are risk zones in this classification in which the increase in infections over the past seven days per 100 thousand population is up to 50 cases, and high-risk zones in which the most dangerous new coronavirus options are common.
