Germany said: he sends his policemen to border with Azerbaijan

Germany’s police will become participants in the long -term mission of the European Union in Armenia. The border with Azerbaijan from the Armenian side will patrol the maximum unarmed 15 law enforcement officers from Germany. This was told by the official representative of the German government, Steffen Hybestrait.

According to him, such a decision was made by the Cabinet of Council of the country. He clarified that a hundred police officers from various countries of the European Union will work as part of the mission.

Note that earlier Haqqin.az, citing dipstyers, reported that the French gendarmes are also included in the mission of the European Union, which will include up to a hundred observers. In France, the gendarmerie is part of the country’s armed forces and obeys the Ministry of Defense. The mission will begin work on February 20.
