Germany will refuse Russian gas until end of year

German Chancellor Olaf Sholts said that the country plans to completely stop the import of Russian gas in December 2022.

The head of the German government also announced financial support to Germany for € 65 billion in connection with the growth of inflation.

According to Scholtz, the government made “timely decisions” to avoid the energy crisis, including filling the vaults and the launch of coal power plants.

“We will survive this winter. Russia cannot be called a reliable supplier, since it no longer fulfills its contract obligations for deliveries,” said Scholts.
