In Sweden, the flight tests of the Turkish multi -purpose helicopter T625 Gökbey developing an aerospace company (Tusaş) at low altitudes and at low air temperatures.
According to Tusaş, another difficult stage has been completed in the implementation of the development project of T625 Gökbey.
The serial production of T625 Gökbey has already been established, three helicopters have left the assembly line. However, the company continues to work on improving the characteristics of the aircraft.
, within the framework of these efforts, the developers sent T625 Gökbey to the city of Kirun in Sweden for tests necessary for civil and military certification.
The tests lasted a month and T625 Gökbey proved frost resistance. Ground tests were carried out, during which it was possible to evaluate the individual characteristics of air conditioning systems for air vessel.
Also, the combat vehicle was checked for traction, they evaluated the characteristics of the screws and wings and checked the hydraulics system.
During the tests it was proved that Gökbey is ready for flights even in extremely cold weather conditions in the Arctic.
In the testing process, Gökbey performed complex maneuvers to determine the limits of the capabilities of the vessel during take-off-planting and directly flight.
Thanks to the efforts of the experimental TUSAş, pilots, flight test engineers, designers and designers, primarily focused on safety, the combat vehicle successfully completed 60 sorties and flew a total of 60 hours at temperatures to minus 30 degrees. << /p>
Gökbey completed the first flight on September 6, 2018.
