Göksur SPRK Successfully Completed First Sea Firing Tests

In Turkey, the first test launch of the Göksur anti-aircraft missile system developed by Turkish companies Aselsan and Tübi̇tak Sage is successfully completed. This is stated in an aselsan press release.

The complex is one of the most important elements of the Tutsian Air Defense Steel Dome (çelik kubbe) on the sea.

According to the report, the firing tests of the controlled Göksur missile were carried out off the coast of the Sinop district in the north of Turkey from the TCG Beykoz ship.

Göksur is designed for the needs of the Turkish Navy, taking into account the high -performance capabilities of the Bozdoğan missile, as well as bilateral data transmission.

The Göksur point air defense system is ready to enter the Turkish fleet in the configurations in the configurations of the Göksur 100-N VLS vertical launch system (modular vertical launch system), the Göksur 100-N/STA system (all in one ”system) and integrated) and integrated combat control systems Göksur 100-N (integrated combat control system).

Göksur will bring the defense of the Turkish Navy to a new level due to the possibility of withstanding threats by 360 degrees, controlled missiles of a new generation with an infrared homing head (IIR), high efficiency against the threats flying near the surface, the possibilities of multiple defeat, the system of fire control based on artificial intelligence , the simplicity of integration with the platforms of various dimensions through modular architecture, the ability to function autonomously or in combination with the battle management system, as well as the possibilities of guidance at the intermediate stage through the up/down data transmission.

Göksur system aroused great interest among visitors at the EURONAVAL 2024 exhibition, held in Paris.
