“Russia is part of the three largest economic partners of Azerbaijan.” This was announced in an interview with the Russian media by the director of the fourth department of the CIS countries of the Russian Foreign Ministry Denis Gonchar.
According to him, from January to June of this year, the turnover between countries amounted to 1.67 billion dollars (9.9% more compared to the same period last year).
“Russia in the top three of the largest trade and economic partners of Azerbaijan. The main articles of Russian exports include food products, machines, equipment, wood and metals,” said Gonchar.
He noted that Russia leads in terms of imports of Azerbaijani non -enoven products, being the largest consumer of Azerbaijani agricultural products.
“Russian investments in Azerbaijan reach $ 4.5 billion, Azerbaijani to Russia – 1.5 billion,” added a diplomat.
