Google Filed Complaint Against Microsoft In European Commission

Google filed an antitrust complaint with Microsoft Corp.

Google accuses Microsoft of using Windows software to bind customers to its Azure cloud platform and deprivation of their easy transition to alternatives.

According to Google, Microsoft uses its market power and restrictive licensing conditions to force customers to use Azure and tie them to their ecosystem.

Instead of allowing honest competition, Microsoft uses its market power in Windows servers to punish customers choosing other cloud providers from the text of the complaint.

Microsoft in a short time achieved significant growth in the cloud computing industry. Google could not live up to the expectations of analysts of this sector.

It is also noteworthy that this is the first complaint filed by Google to the European Commission.
