The Chairman of the Food Security Agency of Azerbaijan Gosgar Tahmazli met with the head of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision of the Russian Federation (Rosselkhoznadzor) Sergey Dunkvert in video conferencing format.
The agency HaqQin.az said that the meeting discussed issues of control over crop production exported from Azerbaijan in the Russian Federation, measures to combat plant pests and viruses in farms, sampling from exported batches of products for laboratory research.
Noting that incoming notifications are considered, the chairman of the APB Gosgar Tahmazli reported that in the bone and seed fruits exported to Russia, research was conducted and monitoring for the presence of drone moniliosis rot.
Sergey Dancutert, in turn, expressed satisfaction with the further expansion of cooperation between the two food security countries, as well as the health of plants.
The meeting also discussed the fumigation of some cultures during import and export operations, their exports after storage in refrigerated warehouses, extending the permission to transport apples and tomatoes by rail, issuing phytosanitary certificates to several small enterprises.
