Government Fell In New Caledonia

In the French colony in the Indo-Pacific region of the New Caledonia, the government fell.

This happened after the party “Caledonia together” left the Cabinet of Ministers.

According to the French press, the party against the independence of Kaledonia together sent a letter to the head of the Government of New Caledonia Louis Mapu, in which she announced her withdrawal from the government.

The letter claims that since May 13, the New Caledonia was drawn into a deep socio-economic crisis and the Mapu government, which has been in power for 3 years, turned the cabinet into a structure acting regardless of other institutions of the island.
