The Government of the Russian Federation extended a temporary ban on gasoline export until December 31, 2024. This is stated in the message of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation.

“From September 1 to December 31, 2024, a temporary restriction on gasoline exports will again be in Russia. The decision on this is signed. The decision was made to maintain a stable situation in the fuel market during the period of preserved seasonal demand and planned repairs carried out at oil refineries “, – said in the message.

The restriction will not affect supplies within the framework of international intergovernmental agreements, including with the states of the Eurasian Economic Union, fuel exported by citizens for personal use, as well as the fuel exported to provide international humanitarian aid, ”the message says.

This momot in Russia has a temporary ban on export of gasoline, introduced by the government from March 1 to August 31, 2024. From May 20 to the end of July, the ban was suspended in connection with the saturation of the domestic market by automobile gasoline and to prevent a decrease in the volume of oil refining with individual enterprises.
